E-mail notifications
  • Transfer From Other User: Yes/No - Changing this preference to “Yes” will trigger the system to email you every time a payment is made into your ArbiterPay account. You can select to receive an email notification when you receive a transfer from another user, such as when a school or association credit funds to your account.
  • Transfer To Other Users: Yes/No - Changing this preference to “Yes” will trigger the system to email you every time a payment is made from your ArbiterPay account. You can select to receive an email whenever you transfer funds to other users.

Auto Debit Dues
  • Selecting “Yes” authorizes the association(s) you work for to automatically debit funds from your ArbiterPay or bank account to cover the dues associated with being part of that group.

Automatic Transfer

To activate automatic transfer:
1. Determine when you want your funds to automatically transfer. You can either enter an amount, select a date of the month, or both.
  • When Balance Reaches Amount in USD": Changing this preference to a specific dollar amount will trigger the system to sweep your entire ArbiterPay balance into the payment method you have selected. For example, if you enter 50 in this field, the system will automatically sweep your entire balance to your desired payment method you have selected as soon as your balance reaches $50.00.
  •  On Date:” Changing this preference to a specific date will trigger the system to sweep your entire ArbiterPay balance into the payment method you have selected based on the day of the month you have selected. For example, if you select 15, your entire ArbiterPay balance will be automatically transferred to your selected method payment on the 15th of each month.
2. Select your payment method:
  • Payment Method: Check, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer to a bank account) -  Select if you want your funds to automatically transfer to your bank account (EFT), or if you want a check sent to your mailing address on your ArbiterPay profile.
    1. For automatic transfer to your bank account, there is a fee of $1.50 for EACH automatic transfer.
    2. For automatic transfer by check, there is a fee of $8.50 for EACH check sent.

(Note: The Payment Method to RP Debit Card is an option to select. However, we no longer offer automatic transfer to the ArbiterPay cards. Transfers to your card must be done manually. If you select this payment method, your funds will not auto-sweep to your card, and the funds will remain in your ArbiterPay account until you sign in and manually transfer your funds to your ArbiterPay card.)

ArbiterPay Direct Payments
  • Paying Administrators have the option to send payments as ArbiterPay Free Payments (Payments Pool in your ArbiterPay account) or ArbiterPay Direct Payments (Payments go directly to your preferred payment method without pooling in your ArbiterPay Account). This preference tells the system how you’d like those ArbiterPay Direct Payments sent to you.
  • Payment method options: Check, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer to your bank account) or Opt-out. If you choose to opt-out, your funds pool in your account, and you choose when and how to transfer the funds). There are no transfer fees associated with ArbiterPay Direct Payments paid by the official.
(Note: RP Debit Card is no longer a valid option for ArbiterPay Direct Payments even though you can select it from the drop-down menu.)
