Officials Permissions



Below is a list of permissions for officials and a description of what that permission does.

Permission: Description:
Sign in the system This permission allows the user to access your group. Without this permission, the user will not be able to sign into your group and they will be given a message stating “You do not have permission to access group XXXXXX at the current time. If you believe this to be in error, please contact the group administrator at [group administrators email address].”
View Roster of Officials This permission allows the official to view your full roster of officials and their contact information. They will only be able to see officials that are marked as active. The user can view the roster of officials under the Lists tab under the Officials sub-tab.
View Roster of Contacts This gives the official access to view the roster of contacts (coaches, Athletic Directors, secretaries, and everyone added as a contact by an assigner in ArbiterOne) and their contact information such as email address, title, and phone number.
View Master Schedule (with assignments) This permission allows the official to see all games entered by the assigner in the system. Check the box “With Assignments” to allow the official to also view the officials assigned on those games.
Block Dates and Times This permission allows an official to set their availability by blocking dates and times.
Block ‘x’ Teams This allows an official to block teams. The number entered for the limit is the maximum number of teams the official may block. As an example, if you enter 5 as the limit, the official can only block 5 teams. An official might need to block teams if they do not want to work with a team again due to conflict, as an example.
Block ‘x’ Sites This allows an official to block sites. The number entered for the limit is the maximum number of sites the official may block. As an example, if you enter 3 as the limit, the official can only block 3 sites. An official might need to block sites if they do not want to work at a certain High School or park, for example.
Block ‘x’ Postal Codes This permission allows an official to block out any postal codes in which they do not want to work at. The limit sets the maximum number of postal codes that the official may block.
Block ‘x’ Partners This permission allows an official to block other officials that they do not wish to work with again. The limit sets the maximum of partners the official may block.
Set Travel Limits This permission allows an official to set their home postal code for everyday of the week and the number of miles (distance) they are willing to travel to games outside of their postal code.
View partners before accepting This permission allows an official to see who the other assigned officials are on a game before they accept it.
Self-assign games This allows an official to assign themselves to games. “Within ‘x’ days” allows the assigner to control how far into the future an official can self-assign a game. For example, if you enter 90, the official may only self-assign games 90 days into the future from the current day. “’x’ game sets per day” is the maximum number of games sets that the official may self-assign to in a 24-hour period.
Self-attach games This allows an official or evaluator to attach themselves to games they may need to attend, as an example, for evaluating purposes. Attaching to a game does not mean the official will be working the game or be paid for the game.
View roster of sites This allows an official to view all sites and sub-sites along with the site’s phone number, address, and contacts.
View roster of teams This allows an official to view all teams along with the contacts of those teams.
Email game reminders ‘x’ days before game This permission allows the official to receive a game reminder email ‘x’ days before a game. If you enter 3, the game reminder email will be generated and automatically sent 3 days before the date of the game.
Select games to evaluate This allows an official to select games to evaluate for a particular official.
Access Videos This gives an official access to videos on Central Hubs
Upload Videos For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Edit Videos For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Monitor Videos For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Affiliate posts content For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Affiliate page content For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Affiliate association settings For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Tests Allows the official to access the tests on Central Hub.
Monitor Tests For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Submit Tests Allows the official to submit tests on Central Hubs.
Take Tests Allows the official to access tests on Central Hubs.
Can Administer a Test For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Can Add a Test For admins only. Not applicable to officials.
Has access to the online rule books This permission is for registration groups with Central Hub. This allows the official to access the rule books.
Add comments to Penalty Reports  This permission allows an official to add comments to Penalty Reports.
Add Note to Penalty Report Fouls  This permission allows an official to add a note to a foul on Penalty Reports.
Access online clinics This permission is for registration groups with Central Hub. This allows the official to access clinics.
Turnback Games ‘x’ days before game  Allows an official to turnback games a certain amount of days before the game date. If an official has accepted a game but can not
Print Vouchers For contacts only. Not applicable to officials.
