Game Filter Descriptions:

Game # Range – This is used to look up a specific game number or a range of game numbers. To find a specific game enter only that game number. To find a range of games enter the first game's number, a dash, and the second game number. So to find games 50 to 100, enter 50-100 in this field. To find multiple non-sequential games, enter each game number separated by only a comma with no spaces. For example: 50,256,798,475

Date of Game – The Date filter has 4 different selections. The default selection is On which will find all the games on a specific date. The other available date filters are After, which will locate all games after the specified date, Before, which locates all games before the specified date, and Between which opens a second date field and will locate all games that fall between the two dates specified.

Sport – The Sports field is a drop-down list that shows all the sports in the database. This filter will locate all games matching the specified sport.

Level – The Level field is a drop-down list that shows all the levels in the database. This is independent of the sport field. For example, if you want to find all varsity games, regardless of the sport, choose Varsity in the drop-down list and leave the sport on All Sports. If you want to find only varsity baseball games, you must select Baseball under Sport, and Varsity under Level.

Site – The Sites field is a drop-down list that shows all the sites in the database. Use this to find all the games played at a specific site.

Home Team – The Home Team field is a drop-down list that will show all of the teams in the database. This is independent of the level so by just choosing the team you will find all home games for that team regardless of their levels. Because a team cannot play itself, choosing the same team in the home and away field will not find any games.

Away Team – The Away Team field is a drop-down list that will show all of the teams in the database. This is independent of the level so by just choosing the team you will find all away games for that team regardless of their levels.

Slots – This option has several options available. Each option will find games with slots that match the selection you make.

Missing assignments– This will locate all games with at least one unassigned slot.

Slots with issues– This will locate slots that have not been accepted yet.

All slots accepted– This will locate slots that have been accepted.

Pending – This will locate games with pending slots.

Published – This will locate games with published slots.

Notified – This will locate games with notified slots.

Accepted – This will locate games with accepted slots.

Unverified– This will locate slots that have not been verified.

All Slots verified– This will locate all games with verified slots.

Self-assignable– This will locate slots that are marked self-assignable.

Non Self-assignable–This will locate slots that are not marked self-assignable.

Verified – This has 2 options, Verified and Unverified. Verified will find games that have been verified while Unverified will find games that have not been verified.

BillTo – The BillTo field is a drop-down list that shows all the BillTos in the database. This is used to find all the games assigned to a specific Bill-To.

Games Status – The Game Status field is used to find games based on their status. To find canceled games choose canceled under this option.

Linked: The Linked field will find games that are either linked together or not linked.

Game Report: The Game Report field is used to find game reports in the database. To find games that are missing game reports choose Games With Red Report. To find games with reports that need to be approved/resolved, choose Games With Yellow Report. To find games with reports that are approved/resolved choose Games With Green Report.

Official Filter: This allows you to combine filters created on the officials page with games filters. When you select the officials filter you want to use, be sure to check make it (Locked) Static. This changes a system setting on the filter to allow it to combine with the games filter. Selecting the officials filter will limit the officials you see when you go to assign your games. It will also limit the officials that are used when you run an Autoassign.  For more information about filtering officials click here.

The Filters screen can also be used to sort games. The windows for this are located at the bottom of the Add or Edit Filter screens. The fields shown in the left window comprise the current sort order and the fields in the right window are available fields that are not currently being used to sort the games. The games will be sorted by the fields in the left window and in priority order beginning with the field listed first. The default sort is Date, Site, Time. This means games are sorted first by date, then by site, then by time. This a popular sort because it places all games on the same date and at the same site together, sorted by earlier start times first. The sort order can be adjusted by moving fields to the left or right using the left and right arrows, and adjusting the sort priority by moving fields in the left window up or down using the up and down arrows.

Filter Statistics

This will count the games for you, based on your current filter that you have selected.

You will see the total number of games, the total number of slots, the number of slots assigned and unassigned, and the current filter selections.
