Best practices for canceling a game is to edit the original game, change the game status to "Canceled', then create a new game as the replacement. This is the best way to communicate to your officials, assigners, and opponents that a game is canceled and this process helps avoid any confusion. Follow the steps below for further instructions:

- Go to the Schedule tab.
- Click on the game to edit.
- On the right side under the Info section, use the Game Status drop-down menu to select Canceled.
- Go to the bottom of the page and click Save Game.
- We recommend sending the game change notification to alert the officials, opponents, and anyone else involved with the game, of the cancellation.
- On the main schedule page, click Add New on the far-right side and select New Game from the drop-down options.
- Enter the necessary game details for the replacement game. When you are finished, click Create Game at the bottom. Whoever is responsible for assigning the officials can then take action on the replacement game to re-assign the officials.
