How To Edit a Game

 

  1. Sign into your Arbiter Game account.
  2. Go to the Schedule tab.
  3. Click on the game to edit any details that need to be changed.

(Important note: Before you can modify the game details, you must first accept the game contact.).
  1. To accept a game contract:
    1. Click on the Schedule tab.
    2. On the game in question, click on the contract icon.
    3. Under your status, click Accept.

  1.  When you are done making changes, click Save Game at the bottom.

  1. The game change will be sent as pending to any opponents involved.
  2. Depending on what game details you've changed, you will be prompted to send a game change notification to Arbiter Live Followers, Officials assigned to the game, Events Workers, Staff members, Opponents, and assigner. You do have the option to select who you want to send the game change notification OR click Don't Send to cancel sending out any notification of changes.

How To View Game Changes - View History
 

  1. Sign into your ArbiterGame account.
  2. Go to the Schedule tab.
  3. Click on the game to view the game edit screen.

  1. Click on the View History link located at the top of the screen.

  1. You will see the date and time of when the game details were changed, what was changed, and who changed it. Most recent changes are listed at the top.

Field - What game detail was changed (Start Date, Start Time, Site, etc..)
Old Value - What the game detail value was before the change was made.
New Value - What the game detail value was changed to.






How To Cancel a Game

Best practices for canceling a game is to edit the original game, change the game status to "Canceled', then create a new game as the replacement. This is the best way to communicate to your officials, assigners, and opponents that a game is canceled and this process helps avoid any confusion. Follow the steps below for further instructions:

  1. Sign into your ArbiterGame account.
  2. Go to the Schedule tab.
  3. Click on the game to edit.

  1. On the right side under the Info section, use the Game Status drop-down menu to select Canceled.

  1. Go to the bottom of the page and click Save Game.

  1. We recommend sending the game change notification to alert the officials, opponents, and anyone else involved with the game, of the cancellation.

  1. On the main schedule page, click Add New on the far-right side and select New Game from the drop-down options.

  1. Enter the necessary game details for the replacement game. When you are finished, click Create Game at the bottom. Whoever is responsible for assigning the officials can then take action on the replacement game to re-assign the officials.
 






How To Delete a Game

  1. Sign into your ArbiterGame account.
  2. Go to the Schedule tab.
  3. Click on the game to edit it.

  1. Go to the bottom of the game edit page and click Delete Game.
