How do I Troubleshoot Self-Assign?

The steps below can help determine why games are not showing for officials to self-assign. It’s important to know that if there are any issues or conflicts for the official on the games (conflicts, travel limit issue, blocks etc.), then the self-assignable games will not show up.

 Make sure the official has permission to self-assign games.

1. Click People.

2. Click the 3 dots next to official’s name.

3. Select permissions.

4. Check the permission “Self-assign games”.

5 Set the “within ‘X’ days” and “’X’ game sets per day” to the correct limits.

 

Make sure that the slots on the game are marked as self-assign.

1. Click Schedule.

2. Click on Slots.

3. Click the edit pencil next to the position.

4. Check the self-assign box.

If the games are still not showing:

Note: Self assign will only show the next 50 available slots, NOT games. 

1.  Ask for a date that the official should be available.

2. Find a game on that date with an open slot that is marked self-assign.

3. Try to assign the official.

4. If they do not show up on under available officials, select issue summary.

5. Issue summary will tell why the official cannot see that game to be self-assigned.
