Managing Announcements

Add an announcement

  1. Sign into your ArbiterSports Admin account.
  2. Click on the People tab.
  3. Click on the Announcements sub-tab.
  4. Click on the green plus sign .
  5. Enter an announcement and make it visible to assigners, officials and/or contacts.
  6. Click on the blue floppy disk to save.

  1. Click on the edit pencil to edit an announcement.

 

Customize announcements using HTML

HTML is allowed within announcements. HTML allows you to add color, fonts, scrolling text, bold or italicize text, etc. for more stylish announcements.

Unless you are already familiar with HTML, the most common method for creating HTML announcements is to use an external HTML editor (like Microsoft Frontpage or Netscape Composer) and then copying and pasting the HTML text into an announcement.

Below is a sample HTML text you can paste into an announcement to see how HTML looks.

Delete an announcement

1. Sign into your ArbiterSports Admin account.

3. Click on the People tab. Click on the Announcements sub-tab.

4. Click on the red "X" to delete.
