How do I Fill Out Student Transfer Details? | For Parents

Updated Since 9/5/2025

In this guide you will learn how to fill out Student Transfer questions in your registration. You will enter school details, upload required documents, and make e-signatures.

Before you start it is helpful to have:

· Previous school name, city, and state

· Last date the student attended the previous school (if applicable)

· New/receiving school name

· Reason for the transfer (e.g., moved address, custody change)

· Any supporting documents your school requires (proof of address, custody papers, etc.)

Note: Schools customize these questions and document requirements. Your screen may look different.

1. Log in to your Arbiter Registration account.

2. Select the program you want to register for.

If the school has included student transfers you will come across the Transfer Request section.

3. Make a Selection:

            A. If your student attended that school the previous year OR is moving from Junior High to High School, select Yes and continue with your registration.

            B. If your student did not attend that school the previous year and is transferring from another school, select No.

4. If you select No, you will be asked to provide all necessary information for your student to transfer.

5. Complete all required fields marked with an asterisk (*).

6. Make any additional comments.

7. Complete Electronic Signatures.

8. Complete remainder of the registration.

If you have any questions regarding the required information being asked by the school, please reach out to the school/organization directly. Their contact information can be found at the top of the registration form under "Contact Us."
