Setting Up Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

We strongly recommend that all users—including officials, assigners, and school admins—activate MFA. This helps protect your accounts, personal information, banking details, and other sensitive data associated with your Arbiter account.

IMPORTANT: If you have never enabled MFA, start by logging out of your Arbiter account, then follow the steps below.

  1. Login to Arbiter.io.

  2. You'll be prompted to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

  3. Select Yes.

  4. Click Continue.

If you choose No, you will be prompted to enroll in MFA again each time you log in to Arbiter.

  1. Enter your Cell Phone Number.

    • Warning: Do not enter a landline or a phone number that cannot receive text messages. Contact our support at 1-800-311-4060 if you need help changing your MFA phone number.

  2. Click Send Code.

  1. Enter the 6-digit code sent via text message.
    • If you clicked Call Me, you will receive a phone call from Microsoft and will be given the 6-digit code verbally.
  2. Click Verify Code.

After completing these steps, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent via text message or verify your identity through an automated call from Microsoft. This verification will occur once every two weeks when you sign in to Arbiter or sign in to a different device.

Not helpful.  No prompt when I sign in and now can't login to Mobile.  Maybe adding a link here to the actual MFA sign-up page would be helpful.  Or at least include instructions on how to enroll from user profiles.

Signed out then signed in.   I didn't get prompted to mfa page. There's no instructions how to get there.
