In this article, you'll learn what an internal field is and how to use it to document specific details on a registration. Internal fields allow you to add information that is visible for internal use only. This article will provide three examples of different internal fields you can create.

How do I create an Internal Field?
- Click Organization.
- Click Internal Fields.
- Click Create Internal Field.

Enter a Name.
- (Optional) Enter a Description.
- Click the drop-down menu, and indicate how you want to document your Internal Field.
- Choose either the following:

Apply data to future registrations.
- Selecting this option ensures that the internal field automatically applies to future registrations, so you won’t need to recreate it each time.

Allow participants to see this data.
- Selecting this option ensures that your users can see the data you input.

Apply data to future registrations.
- Click Save.
Where can I find my Internal Field?
After users submit their registrations, you can find your internal field on the editing page of each user's registration.
- Under the Filled column, click the number of submitted registrations.
- Click Edit.
- Document your Internal Field.
- Click Save and Continue.
Why can't I see my Internal Field?
After creating your internal field, you’ll still need to attach it to your current registrations. If you selected "Apply data to future registrations," the internal field will automatically be applied to all new registrations moving forward.
- Click the 0 next to your new internal field.
- Checkmark and link your internal field to your current registrations.
- Click Save.
