Bank Transfer FAQ

ArbiterSports provides multiple ways to transfer funds into and out of your Arbiter Pay account.  Below you'll find details for each method (transfers and uploads).

Standard Bank Transfer

Standard Bank transfers typically arrive within 1 to 3 business days. Transfers are reviewed, which may result in delays or funds being frozen or removed from your Arbiter Pay account.

How long do bank transfers take?

Bank transfers tend to process in 1 to 3 business days. A few different factors, like weekends and holidays, can sometimes slow things down.

  • If you requested the bank transfer on a weekday (Mon-Fri) before 3pm ET, the bank transfer could reach your bank account as soon as the next business day. (It could take up to 3 business days to arrive)

    • For example: If you request it on Monday before 3pm ET, it could arrive in your bank account as soon as Tuesday. It shouldn’t arrive later than Thursday

  • If you requested the bank transfer on a weekday (Mon-Fri) after 3pm ET, the bank transfer will initiate on the next business day. It could then reach your bank account as soon as the business day after that. (It could take up to 3 business days to arrive)

    • For example: If you request it on Friday after 3pm ET, it will initiate on the next business day, Monday. Then it could arrive in your bank account as soon as Tuesday. It shouldn’t arrive later than Thursday

  • If you requested the bank transfer on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday), the bank transfer will initiate on the next business day (likely Monday). It could then reach your bank account as soon as the next business day after that (as early as Tuesday). (It could take up to 3 business days to arrive)

    • For example: If you request it on Saturday morning, it will initiate on the next business day, Monday. Then it could arrive in your bank account as soon as Tuesday. It shouldn’t arrive later than Thursday

  • For bank holidays, add one business day to the timeline. For a list of federal holidays that apply to most banks, please visit this page

    • For example: If you request it on Monday before 3pm ET, and Tuesday is a bank holiday, it could arrive in your bank account as soon as Wednesday. If you request it on Monday after 3pm ET, it could arrive as soon as Thursday

Why are the timelines dependent on business days?

Bank transfer timelines are dependent on the Automated Clearing House (ACH), ArbiterSports' banking partner, and your bank. If you’ve already initiated a standard bank transfer, there’s no way for us to expedite that process.

I should have already received my bank transfer, but I don’t see it. Where is it?

Sometimes, the transfer may post to your bank statement on a different date than the one estimated above, so be sure to check the surrounding dates as well.

Instant Transfer

What are instant transfers and how much do they cost?

Instant transfers with ArbiterSports allow you to send money to any eligible U.S. bank account or Visa/Mastercard debit card, typically within 30 minutes. A 1.75% fee (with a minimum fee of $2.00 and a maximum fee of $15) is deducted from the transfer amount for each transfer.
There is a transfer amount maximum of $1,000.00 for each transfer.

Instant transfers can be made 24 hours a day, 365 days a year regardless of holiday or weekend schedules.

Additionally, transfers are reviewed and could be declined, delayed, or blocked if we identify an issue. Reviews may result in funds being frozen or removed from your account.

Check out our Instant Transfer article for instructions on how to receive your funds instantly.

*Please note that you must have MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) in place on your account in order to enable Instant Transfer. See article Activating Instant Transfer.

I have a paysheet dated 11/19 for $170.00 but when I go to transfer funds to my bank account the available balance is $0.00.
