In this article we will cover how to clear the cache and cookies across different browsers. If you clear your browser's cache and temporary internet files regularly, this helps your computer or device run optimally—and doing so can help fix certain problems, like the website loading slowly, or formatting issues.
Google Chrome
1. Click on the three dots to the far right of the browser
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Privacy and Security' on the left
4. Click on 'Clear browsing data'
5. Change the 'Time Range' drop-down menu to 'All Time' and make sure 'Cookies and other site data' and 'cached images and files' are check-marked. (Having 'Browsing history' selected will clear any saved passwords, leave this unchecked)
6. Click 'Clear Data'
7. The Clear Data window will disappear when it is done, refresh your page and you are done.
Safari
1. Click on 'History' at the top of the screen
2. Click on 'Clear history'
3. Change the drop-down menu from 'last hour' to 'all history'
4. Click 'Clear History"
5. Refresh tab when history is done clearing
Microsoft Edge
1. Click on the three dots to the far right of the search bar
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Privacy, Search, and Services'
4. Click on 'Choose What to Clear' next to 'Clear browsing data now'
5. Make sure the first 4 options are selected in the 'Clear browsing data' screen and change the 'Time range' drop-down menu to all time.
6. Click 'Clear Now'
7. When the data is done clearing refresh your browser.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Click on the three lines to the far right of the search bar
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Click on 'Privacy & Security'
4. Scroll down until you see the header 'Cookies and Site Data'
5. Click 'Clear Data..."
6. Make sure both 'Cookies and Site Data' and 'Cached Web Content' are check-marked, then click 'Clear'
7. Once data is done clearing, refresh your browser.
