To use the Attendance feature on ArbiterRegistration, you must first create a report and enable Attendance Tracking. For instructions on creating a report, please refer to our article on how to Create a New Report. Once your report is created, follow the steps below to enable Attendance Tracking.

How do I enable Attendance Tracking?
- Click the Reports tab.
- Click the drop-down menu of the report for which you want to enable Attendance Tracking.
- Click Edit/Share.
- Scroll down and under Report Settings
- Click the Attendance Tracking drop-down menu.
- Attendance Tracking enables you to monitor attendance for each student.
- Attendance Tracking + Absence Notifications allows you to track attendance and automatically send absence notification emails to parents regarding their child's attendance.
- Click Save & View.
How do I take attendance?
- Click the Reports tab.
- Click the report drop-down menu that was shared with you.
- Click Attendance Sheets.
- Click Take Attendance.
- Title the attendance sheet, and begin taking attendance.
- Click Return to Attendance Sheets after completing the attendance sheet.
You may edit or view attendance sheets by clicking on View/Edit.
How do I Send Absence Notifications?
Ensure you have enabled Attendance Tracking + Absence Notifications.
- After taking attendance, click Send absence notification emails.
A mail letter icon will appear next to students who have been marked absent and have received an absence notification email.
How do I view past attendance sheets?
The Count Selected feature allows you to view all students and track their attendance status across the attendance sheets you've created. It displays the number of students marked as present, absent, tardy, excused, or unmarked. You can also print or download this data for reporting purposes.
- Click Count Selected.
