In this article, you’ll learn how to send text messages to participants, parents, emergency contacts, and more. QuickConnect allows you to send text messages just like emailing through the platform.
Please note: Users completing registrations will see a checkbox next to any cell-phone entry field to allow text messages from your organization. They can opt out at any time by unchecking the box during registration or by replying STOP to a message.

Can I send a text and email at the same time?
How do I send a text message?
- Access the registration table.
- Checkmark your Participants.

Click Email/Text Selected.
- A pop-up menu will appear on the right-hand side.
- Checkmark who you want to send a text to.

Enable Send Text.
- Type your text message.
- The character limit is 160.
- Text messages will not display the sender’s name. We recommend including a signature in any text you send.
- Click Send.
Can I send a text and email at the same time?
You can send a text message and an email at the same time, and each can contain a different message.
- Type your text message.
- Enable Send Email.

Scroll Down.
- Indicate who the email is coming from.
- Specify who you'd like recipients to reply to.
- You can CC up to 5 people.
- Add a subject line to your email.
- Type your email.
- Click Send.
