In this article you will learn how to add additional sites and sub-sites needed for a game, practice, or events — beyond the main site where the event takes place — using the Facility Request section of Arbiter Game. This is useful when an event requires more than one space, such as a football game that also needs the press box, concession stand, and locker rooms, or a baseball game that also needs the batting cages or weight room. It also applies to meets that take place across multiple facilities.
How do I add additional sites to an event?
- Click Add New.
- Select New Game or New Other Event (or practice or meet).
- Schedule your Teams and Opponent.
In the Where section, select the Site and Sub-site where the event will take place.
Note: This is the main site of the event, not an additional facility.Scroll down to the Facility Request section. The event site you selected above is already shown here.
Note: The event site cannot be edited from the Facility Request section. To change it, edit the Where section above.- Click Edit to add additional facilities.
Select any additional facilities for the event:
- Add additional sub-sites at the current site (for example, the weight room or the softball field).
- Add an entirely separate site and select its sub-sites (for example, Wilson Park), which is useful for a meet held across multiple facilities.
Note: As you select facilities, each reserved space is added and displayed for that specific game, practice, or meet.- To remove a facility, click to remove the site or sub-site, and it will be taken off your selection.
Once all the details are correct, click Create Game.
Note: The game is created using all of the additional sites you selected.
How do I view additional sites on the schedule?
- Go to the game on your Schedule page. The event indicates that additional sites are used.
- Click the Facility icon for the event on the schedule page.
- View the event for the game along with any additional spaces reserved as part of the facility request.
