In this article you will learn how to enter, import, save, and publish player stats for a game, and where those stats appear once published. Stats are available to all schools with an Arbiter Game license.
Before you begin
- Stats are available for the following sports: Baseball, Basketball, Field Hockey, Football, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball.
- To enter stats for a game, the game must be in the past, have a final score entered, and have a roster for your team.
- If you are missing a score or a roster, Arbiter displays a message telling you what is needed before stats can be entered.

How do I enter stats for a game?
- Go to the game on your Schedule page.
-
Enter the final score. A stats panel appears next to the score entry and becomes enabled once a score is entered.
Note: If the game does not have a final score, or the team does not have a roster, you will not be able to enter stats. Arbiter will let you know whether a score or a roster is needed. - Click the Stats icon on the game.
- The stats panel opens with your team's roster, sorted by player number.
- If you prefer, sort the roster by name or position.
-
Select a stat category. Categories vary by sport.
- Football, for example, includes Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Special Teams, and Defense.
- Soccer includes fewer categories, such as Offense and Goalkeeping.
Note: Hover over a stat's abbreviation to see what that stat represents. - Mark whether each player Participated and whether they Started.
-
Enter the stats for each player.
Note: Arbiter applies stat validation to some stat entries, such as more completions than attempts.
How do I import stats using a template?
Importing is a fast way to get a full set of stats entered at once.
- Open the stats panel for the game.
- Click the menu and select Import Stats.
-
Choose to Download the template or Import a completed template.
Note: Each sport has its own import template that corresponds to that sport and to your team's roster. Always pull the template for that specific sport and team. -
Download the template, fill in your stats, and import the completed file.
Tip: If you already track stats in another service such as GameChanger or Hudl, you can export their template and use an AI resource to move those stats onto the Arbiter template before uploading — a quick way to fill in the template. - On import, Arbiter runs stat validation. Any rows that come back with an error are provided in an error export.
- Export the error sheet, fix the errors, and re-import the template. Only the stats that did not import correctly are re-imported.
How do I save and publish stats?
-
Save your progress at any time using Save. Arbiter also saves your stats as you enter them.
Note: Saving stores your progress but does not publish stats or make them visible to the public. - When you are ready to make stats public, click Publish.
- Arbiter confirms with a message and a timestamp of the successful publish.
- The stats status updates in the Stats column on your Schedule page.
Where do published stats appear?
Once published, stats appear in Arbiter Live in two places:
- Team schedule — a Season Stats tab appears for teams that have stats.
-
Game on a schedule — a Stats icon appears in the Links column. Click the icon to open the stat sheet for that game.
