Troubleshooting
Note: Due to significant loading time, this importer is ideal for assigners and groups with large assignment making. It is not ideal for smaller game importing and assigning. If you have a small batch of game assignments to make, please check out these articles:

Import Games & Assignments
1. Sign in to your Admin account on www.arbitersports.com.
2. Click on the Schedule tab.
3. Click Import Games, located on the top right side of the Schedule page.
4. Click on the Import Games & Assignments button.
5. Click on the Template button on the right side to download the games and assignments import template.
6. On the Excel file template, click Enable Editing.
7. Enter your game information. At least all required fields need to be completed.
- Tip: You can hover your mouse over the header columns to see which fields are required and format details.
- Similar to the game importer, the following fields are required: Date (in format m/d/yyyy), Sport, Level, Site, and Sub-Site (Time, Home Team, and Away Team may be left blank to indicate TBA).
- There is a maximum of 6 assignments on the import. If you need to import games that require more than 6 officials, you will need to use the traditional assigning process. Please refer to our Assigning Games article.
9. Select the Position Name using the arrow that appears when you click the cell under the column. The positions will appear based on the sport and level you selected.
10. Select the Official Name using the arrow that appears when you click the cell under the column.
- All officials in your group will be listed. This includes officials that are not ranked and officials that may not be eligible for that sport/level. After selecting an official, their email address will automatically populate in the Official Email column.
(Note: if an official is not ranked or eligible, they will not be assigned when you upload the template.)
11. To add more than one official assignment, proceed to PositionName2, OfficialName2, and so on up to the number of officials needed (maximum of 6).
12. Save the file to your computer after you are done entering your game and assignment information.
13. On the Import Games & Assignments screen on ArbiterOne, drag and drop the file or click inside the designated box to choose your file.
Important note: This process could take a significant amount of time.
14. If the games and assignments successfully imported, you will receive the following message:

Troubleshoot:
1. If some games or assignments fail to import, click Fix Issues to download the template containing the games or assignments that failed.
2. Scroll to the far right side on the template past the official assignment columns. You will see a red Errors column that explains why the games or assignments failed.
3. If you wish to re-import the games that failed, make the appropriate corrections and download a fresh import games & assignments template.
4. Re-enter the game information and assignment information, and repeat the steps to import the games with assignments again.
