How To Assign Officials in ArbiterGame

If you have games that are not scheduled by an ArbiterSports assigner, the steps below will walk you through how to assign officials to your games. To learn how to add your games first, please see our Adding Games in ArbiterGame article.

*Note: Before you can assign officials, first you must add the official to your ArbiterGame account under the Officials tab. Please see our Adding and Editing Officials in ArbiterGame article to learn how.  If you are looking to assign workers or other 1099 contractors, please view this article: Assign Event Workers to Games and Events

Troubleshooting:

If you click on the referee jersey icon but do not see the option to assign officials:
  • Click on the game to edit it. On the game edit page, scroll to the Officials section. Using the drop-down menu, select Assigned by School and select how many officials you will need for that game.

If you can not find the official you're wanting to assign:
  • Make sure you have added that official to your ArbiterGame account under the Officials tab and ranked (Manage Sports) the official for the sport/gender of the game. See Adding and Editing Officials in ArbiterGame
  • Use the drop-down menu to view All Officials, as there potentially may be a conflict or reason why the official in questions is not available to assign to the game.
