How do I Modify an Official's information?
Because Arbiter generates a unique userID for each of your officials, be sure to never edit old officials information as a workaround for adding a new official. If an official needs an email to be replaced on Arbiter, they must do it on their own Profile settings to do so.
If you need to edit information on an official:
- Click People.
- Click the Edit Pencil next to the official.
- Select what you would like to edit.
Note: Many fields are greyed out to protect data integrity. If a name, email, or other sensitive information needs to be updated, the official must make these changes themselves in their Profile settings.
If an official belongs to multiple groups, their personal information is locked to administrators and can only be managed by the user. Additionally, if an official's SSN has been verified by the IRS, their last name will be non-editable; they must submit legal documentation to process a name change.
Admins on the account will be able to edit information under My Organization Tab. Here you will be able to see their roles within the account, Custom Fields and as well as add them to other roles, if needed. You are also able to mark the official as Active and Not Active.
After making the necessary changes, click Save.
After you have added your officials to your group, the next step is to set up their permissions and rank your officials:
