Arbiter 360
- State Admin Notifications for School Staff Additions: State Admins using 360 now receive an automatic email notification whenever a member school adds a new Athletic Director, Principal, or Superintendent. - NFHS Learn Integration: We’ve improved how Arbiter matches user accounts with partner systems (e.g., NFHS) to ensure all valid course completions are captured and applied in eligibility calculations. Arbiter now uses both your primary email address, and any verified secondary email addresses when matching your Arbiter account to corresponding accounts in partner systems.

- Copying emails from staff list: Email addresses in the School Directory’s Staff view and on the Monitor Eligibility page are now true "mailto" links, making it easy to email or copy them without accidentally opening the details page. This update removes frustrating mis-clicks and ensures emailing staff is quick, predictable, and error‑free.

NEW!
Ticketing & Streaming Links for Games, Meets, and Events: Schools can now add ticketing and streaming links to individual games, meets, and events—making it easier for fans, families, and communities to access tickets and live streams directly from ArbiterLive.
How It Works
- Links can be added, edited, or removed at any time.
- Ticketing and streaming links are shared across all schools on an event. If one school adds a link, it will be visible to all participating schools in ArbiterLive.
- If a ticketing or streaming link is added or updated, the game or event’s Last Modified Date will update accordingly.
- If no links are provided, there is no change to the game or event experience.
Coming Soon: Ticketing and streaming links will be available for tournaments with the new Tournament Manager.
Where Links Appear
- When a valid ticketing or streaming link is added, icons will automatically display in the following places in ArbiterLive:
- Game / Event Details page: Fans can click the ticket or streaming icon to open the link in a new window.
- Team Schedule page: Individual games with ticketing or streaming links will show the corresponding icons for quick access.
- Today’s Games section: Games happening today will display ticketing and streaming icons so fans can easily find tickets or watch live.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where creating multiple games consecutively using the Create Game & New button could cause opponent information to carry over from the previous game.
- Fixed an issue where practices were unintentionally included when mass updating games to a default assigning group.
- Resolved issues that prevented co-op games from appearing correctly in Payments when a participant of the co-op would Claim payment, which could block officials from being paid.

- Event Worker Support for Host Games: Hosts can now assign Event Workers to Host Games, with workers automatically receiving assignment and game‑change notifications. Workers marked as Contractors flow into the payment screen, while those marked as Employees do not.
- Host Game added to Event Type Advanced Filter: The Event Type options in Advanced Filters on the Schedule page now include Host Game, allowing schools to quickly isolate and review Host‑designated events.
Expanded Team Level Support (B‑Team, Modified, JV2): Arbiter now supports B‑Team, Modified, and JV2 team levels, enabling schools to create teams at these levels and assigners to schedule officials for their games. This enhancement ensures fuller coverage for sub‑varsity and developmental programs across participating schools. (Help Article)
Fixes
- We resolved an issue where the Excel import template for games and assignments validated officials only within the first 10,000 entries of the available officials list. Any official listed beyond that range was incorrectly flagged as invalid, resulting in failed imports.
- We’ve resolved an issue in the League Scheduler where team selections on the Schedule page could appear incorrect after clicking Save Progress. Your team selections will remain accurate across the UI, saved data, and generated games.
- Importing games as a school would fail if the opponent you were scheduling against was a co-op team
Student Registration
New!
Consent‑to‑Sync Step Removed from Program Setup: We’ve simplified the Program Setup flow by removing the old Consent‑to‑Sync step. This keeps setup straightforward for all organizations while preserving your existing consent settings.
- All registrations from this point forward will be viewable in Arbiter Game's Student List!
- All Athletic and Combined Program Types will require the Graduation Field from this point forward
- The consent prompt no longer appears during setup
- All current consent preferences remain exactly as they are
Improvements
All Student Registration Links Now Use Arbitersports.com: We’ve completed a cleanup to ensure Student Registration uses only arbitersports.com links and assets. Any outdated references to familyid.com have been removed, and legacy traffic is safely redirected so no links break. This update makes registration emails, branding, and pages consistent across the platform—without changing any organization settings.
Fixes
Injury Date & Time Now Properly Read‑Only: Resolved an issue where Date of Injury and Time of Injury fields appeared disabled but still allowed edits when taking attendance for a student with a locked injury record. These fields are now fully read‑only, accurately reflect their locked state, and no changes can be made or saved. New or unlocked injuries remain editable.
Arbiter Websites
- Smarter Password Reset Emails: Password reset emails are now limited only to sites where you have access. This helps avoid confusion and keeps your account activity more secure.
- Improved Navigation for Keyboard Users: We’ve enhanced the Teams menu in the main navigation to ensure smoother keyboard navigation. This update improves accessibility and makes it easier for all users to move through the site.
- Protected Team Pages for Better Stability: Dynamic Team Pages and their related taxonomies are now protected to prevent accidental changes or deletions. This helps keep team pages running smoothly, while still allowing authorized admins to manage them when needed.
- Site Address on Schedule Widgets: Users can now quickly identify where a game is being played and access directions directly from any Arbiter‑powered game widget. This update introduces Site address visibility and a “Get directions” link across all event detail views, improving clarity, accessibility, and navigation for game audiences.

- Fixed unhandled assignment edge cases.
- Fixed an issue where submitting a game report did not return users to the game details page.
- Fixed an issue for school admins where saving a score on a multi‑opponent game kept the user on the Edit Score view.
Important Reminder
Legacy App End of Support Notice: The Legacy ArbiterSports Officials App is no longer supported. While the in‑app message remains visible for the current time, the legacy app no longer returns games, assignments, or related data. All officials must use the new Arbiter Mobile App to access schedules, games, and assignments.
- Download the Arbiter App:
Arbiter 360
- State Admin Notifications for School Staff Additions: State Admins using 360 now receive an automatic email notification whenever a member school adds a new Athletic Director, Principal, or Superintendent. Each notification includes the school's name, staff member’s name, role(s), and email address, making it easier for State Admins to quickly follow up and support new contacts at their schools.
- Export Student Transfers: State users can now export a complete package of transfer information directly from Arbiter making it easier to provide documentation to legal teams, state organizations, and any external entities involved in a student transfer review.
- Title IX Survey Reporting: We’ve updated the Enrollment in Grades 9–11 field on Title IX surveys to prevent schools from editing state-calculated enrollment numbers. This helps ensure accurate reporting and protects the integrity of survey return-rate calculations.
- Registration Types: Admins can now quickly identify each registration’s purpose with a new Type column on the Registration dashboard. This makes it easier to distinguish school vs. official registrations at a glance, with automatic support for any new types added by the system.
- School Registration Fix: We’ve resolved an issue where School Registration users were blocked from completing registration if their user profile address - specifically the State field - was missing. This caused the Payment/Confirmation step to fail to load during submission.
Sprint 604 (3/4/2026)
Scheduling
New!
Name search when assigning officials (AD Assigning Officials – School View): When assigning officials as a school in the AD Assigning Officials workflow, you can now search by Name, similar to the existing search for assigning event workers.
Fixes
- Reports in Arbiter Game where not including co-op team data. All reports should now include any information related to co-op teams.
- When Assigners would update Date/Time and Status on a game, only the Date/Time was getting updated. We have fixed this so both changes should now take place.
- Auto-Assign was including archived games if a filter was being used on the schedule page before running auto-assign. We will only look at active games under a filter when running the auto-assign process.
Eligiblity
- Batch Upload Eligibility Data: Schools, states, and assigners can now update custom eligibility requirement information in bulk using a customized Excel upload workflow. This enhancement can dramatically reduce manual data entry time and supports schools transitioning from Excel‑based processes to Arbiter.
- School Classification: We’ve improved how school information is captured across Arbiter by separating the previously combined “School Level / Classification” control into two clear, easy‑to‑use fields. This change reduces confusion and helps admins enter accurate school data with fewer mistakes.
Payments
Fixes
We’ve resolved two issues that were preventing some users from successfully creating ArbiterPay accounts, even after completing verification. These fixes ensure that:
- Username availability is checked consistently across the entire flow.
- Payors (schools, assigners, officials) can complete account creation after passing identity verification.
Student Registration
New!
Extended Expiration - Now 10 Days!: We’ve extended the amount of time new user invitations stay active from 48 hours to 10 days. This gives invitees more flexibility to complete their account creation while still keeping the process secure. Existing invitations will continue to expire on their original schedule.
Improvements
- Updated Branding: We updated the subject line of organization invitation emails to reflect current Arbiter branding. Invitations now reference students.arbitersports.com instead of the outdated www.familyid.com, making it easier for invited users to recognize the message as legitimate.
- Export Transfer Records: As a State, you can now export all data associated with a student transfer into a single folder for external use or archive.
Fixes
- Edited Registration Charge: We’ve resolved an issue where updating a registration caused the system to charge for two sections instead of replacing the original selection. When parents edited their section choice after submitting a registration, both the old and new sections could appear in the payment summary, leading to an incorrect total. This fix ensures that only the final section selected is displayed and billed, and that prior selections are properly removed.
- Duplicate-Registration Warning: We fixed an issue where the duplicate‑registration warning showed the sport a family was currently selecting instead of the sport they’d previously registered for. The system now correctly checks for duplicates at the specific sport/section level and displays the accurate prior registrations when a warning is needed.
Arbiter Websites
- Basecamp – User Management – Stay on Edit Screen After Saving User Changes: When editing a user in Basecamp, saving changes was sending admins back to the User List page. This update keeps them on the same edit screen after saving so they can continue making updates without having to search for the user again.
- Update Policies Footer Link: Updated the Policies link in the footer across all Arbiter Websites.
- Migration Tool for BT FC to AW Data Conversion: Created a migration tool to automatically convert Fan Central content into a format ready for Arbiter Websites. This helps us move sites faster, reduce manual work, and keep data consistent during migration
- Score ticker for leagues: Leagues can now create and embed their own Score Ticker Widget, just like schools have today. This makes it easy to display live scores and recent results across all teams in a league on their website.
- Upcoming Events Widget: Schools can now display up to 10 upcoming published games directly on their Arbiter‑powered websites—helping communities stay informed about all upcoming athletic events across every team in the school.
Mobile Apps
Improvements
- Review Prompting: Added review prompts to help gather user feedback.
- Schedule Sync - Updated UI: Officials now have an improved Schedule Sync interface, including the ability to easily copy iCal URLs for use in external calendar apps. A future release will build on this update with simplified, one‑click sync options to make setup even easier.
- Updated Sport Icons: Sport icons have been refreshed for improved clarity and visual consistency throughout the app.
- Menu Layout Improvements: Menu icons and labels have been updated for clarity.
- New Lock Icon: An updated lock icon has been added to officials’ blocks to make them easier to identify at a glance while remaining accessible.

- Fixed advanced score settings not correctly respecting user permission levels and scoping.
- Fixed “null” being displayed for empty set scores.
- Fixed sport-specific scores not appearing on the game listing and game details screens.
- Fixed incorrect information being shown when selecting games within tournaments.
Important Reminder

Scheduling
New Features
- Site History: Schools and Assigners can track the changes made to sites and subsites to know when something was updated.
- New Game Email: Athletic Directors listed on a schools account will receive a new game email and have the option to accept or decline the contract whenever anyone adds a game to their schedule. This would include games added by both assigners and opposing schools.
Fixes
- Schools can now assign officials to games where one of their co-op teams are participating.
- Updates have been made to the Team Schedule, Team Roster, and All Events reports to include co-op team information.
- Events added to a school schedule in Arbiter Game will display the school logo instead of displaying a sport icon.
- State Associations using the alignment tool will default to the alignment built for the current school year.
Eligibility
Fixes
- Officials who register the last day an eligibility is open were not being auto-enrolled in that eligibility. This has been fixed.
- For states using the Student Transfers page, the page was not sorting and filtering across all pages; rather, just the page you were on. This has been fixed and it will now sort and filter across all pages.
Payments
Fixes
- Payees downloading 1099s would sometimes get an error. This has been fixed and things should download reliably now.
- The Select All button on the payments page for schools wasn't working. This has been fixed.
- Schools paying with a .csv file would sometimes see duplicate payments if they click the Pay button multiple times. Safety precautions have been added here and there should never be any duplicate payments even if they click multiple times.

Improvements
-
Messages Table Now Reflects Program or Section Context: The Messages page now reflects how you accessed it—whether from the full program report or a specific section.
- If opened from the full program report, you’ll see all messages for that program across all sections.
- If opened from a specific section, you’ll see only messages sent from that section.
- The page title will also clearly indicate what you’re viewing (for example, “Messages for A Email Test” or “Messages for A Email Test – Section Name”), making it easier to stay oriented and find relevant communication quickly.
Arbiter Websites
- Homepage Slideshow Display Improvement: We resolved an issue where slideshow images on the homepage were visible in the site editor but did not properly appear on the live site. In some cases, the image would briefly attempt to load before disappearing.
- Improved Accessibility for Teams Menu Navigation: We’ve enhanced keyboard navigation for the Teams menu in the main site navigation. This improvement ensures smoother tabbing, clearer focus states, and better access to submenu items for users navigating with a keyboard or assistive technologies.
-

- On the schedule widget, preset date selections like Yesterday or Next Month were off by one day. This has been fixed.
- On the schedule widget, various display issues for small screens and mobile view have been optimized. This widget should dynamically respond on any size screen.

- Version Information: The Settings screen now displays the current app version to better support troubleshooting and support cases.

- Game Reports Visibility: Resolved an issue where scores entered by admins were not visible to officials when completing game reports.

- Filtering on schedule Month View: The filtering options on the schedule page for schools will now persist between both the List view and Month view. Schools can use the Advanced Filters to filter for more specific game/event details.
Student Registration
Improvements
- More Reliable Registration Emails: We’ve made improvements to how images and content are delivered in registration emails. This helps ensure emails display correctly and consistently, with fewer issues like missing images or formatting problems. No action is required—this update simply makes email communication more dependable.
- Account Owner Always Included in Messages: When sending messages, the Account Owner is now always included as a recipient. This ensures important communications are never sent without reaching the primary contact for the account. You can still select or remove other recipients as needed, and messages will send even if the Account Owner is the only recipient selected.
- Message Recipients – Improved Name Sorting: On the Message Recipients page, participant and recipient lists now sort by last name instead of first name. This aligns sorting behavior with other areas of the platform and makes it easier to scan and find people in longer lists. Sorting still works the same way—click once for A–Z, click again for Z–A—and your selection stays consistent as you navigate through the list.
Fixes
Template Preview Shows Student Transfer Questions: Template previews in Student Registration Admin now include the Student Transfer section and questions, making it easier to verify templates before publishing.
Arbiter Websites
New Feature!
- Improved School Search in Basecamp: Finding schools in Basecamp is now faster and easier. Instead of scrolling through long dropdown lists, administrators can now search intuitively by school name or site URL. This makes managing sites quicker, more accurate, and far less frustrating, especially for organizations with a large number of schools.
- Dynamic Master Team Page Controls and Team Widget Setup: Basecamp now includes new controls to support Dynamic Master Team Pages. Administrators can enable this feature at the site level and configure team widget settings, such as widget keys for schedules, rosters, menus, and score tickers, directly in Basecamp without needing developer assistance. When this feature is enabled for a site, required team categories and tags are automatically pre filled to support team specific filtering for news, galleries, files, and forms.
- Sites that do not use dynamic team pages continue to work as they always have.
- Improved Schedule Accuracy on Schedule Widget: Schedule widgets now display games based on publish status more consistently. Team schedules show only games that team has published, while school, state, and league schedules include games if at least one participating team has published them.
- New Date Pick Options on Schedule Widget: A new date filter has been added to the State/League Schedule widget, including a configurable “Today forward” default. Events can be filtered by a selected start date using either typed input or a calendar picker. The date filter works alongside existing schedule filters for more precise results.
- View Game Details Without Leaving the Page: Game details in the Schedule widget now opens in an in‑widget modal instead of redirecting to another page. This allows users to view key game information, status indicators (e.g., Postponed or Canceled), and site directions without leaving the schedule.
Mobile Apps
Improvements
- Team Records in Officials View: Team records are now visible in the Officials view, allowing officials to see the records of both teams for games they are scheduled to work. Team records will be added to Admin and Fan views in an upcoming release.
- Improved Over-the-Air Update Experience: The app will no longer force updates mid-session, reducing the likelihood of crashes. Updates will now occur in the background on app launch, or users will be prompted with an option to manually reload and update the app.
- Enhanced Hold Date Handling for Officials: Hold date functionality has been improved so hold dates are displayed correctly. Specific game details will remain hidden from officials until they are officially released by the assigner, ensuring parity with the web experience.
- Score Submission Validation: The score input form now includes improved validation to prevent incomplete or invalid score submissions for both Admins and Officials.
Bug Fixes
- Improved Session Expiration Handling: Improved the logout experience when a user’s authentication token expires, providing clearer behavior and a smoother user experience.
- Schedule Display Fix: Resolved an issue where certain games were not appearing in the mobile app due to mismatched game or team levels, causing schedules to differ from Arbiter Live.
- iOS Profile Privacy Toggle Fix: Fixed an issue on iOS where profile privacy settings were not saving or functioning correctly. Display of full address information (when set to public) to other officials from the game view—when viewing an official’s profile—will be included in an upcoming release.
- Hold Date Game Notes Fix: Corrected an issue where game notes were not displayed for hold dates.
- Calendar Schedule View Fix: Fixed an issue where the calendar schedule view was not loading or functioning correctly for some users.

Title IX
-
Student Surveys: Schools can now enter student survey data into Arbiter within the Title IX platform. Survey data can be stored alongside other Title IX documentation, making it easier to maintain a complete and organized record of compliance-related information.
Student surveys are an important input when evaluating gender equity and participation trends. While survey results alone do not determine compliance, having documented evidence of student interest can help provide additional context as part of a broader Title IX review. This update ensures survey data lives in the same system as the rest of a school’s Title IX process.
School Directory
-
Filter Schools by Program: States can now filter the School Directory to show only schools that offer a specific program. This makes it easier to identify and communicate with schools running particular sports or activities.
This is especially useful for sport‑specific outreach, such as programs with more limited adoption like eSports or Field Hockey, ensuring messages reach only the most relevant schools.
Bug Fixes
- We’ve improved multi‑select behavior across Monitor Eligibility, Event Payments, and the School Directory. Clicking anywhere in the selection column now behaves like clicking the checkbox, preventing accidental navigation into row details. This makes it easier to select multiple rows without losing progress.
- Official registration has been updated to prevent users from being unintentionally removed from existing associations. Associations are now preserved when officials register multiple times to add sports, unless they explicitly choose to remove themselves.
Sprint 601 (1/21/2026)
Student Registration
Improvements
- Updated Terms of Service Link: Updated the Terms of Service link during Student Registration account signup displayed outdated FamilyID terms. The link now directs users to the current Arbiter Terms and Conditions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information during signup.
- Message View CSV Download: Program administrators can now download a CSV from the Message View page containing participant and recipient details. The export includes structured, shareable data aligned with the table view and excludes action-only columns, making it easy to review and share message delivery information outside the platform.
Fixes
- Duplicate Transfer Status History Fix: Fixed an issue where simply viewing or editing non-status fields on a student transfer caused the current transfer status to be added again to Comments and History. Transfer status entries are now only logged when the status actually changes, preventing duplicate or misleading history records.
- HubSpot Integration Fix: Fixed an issue where HubSpot popups and banners were not displaying in production or staging. In-app HubSpot messaging now loads correctly across Student Registration pages.
- Recipient Type Labeling Fix: Fixed an issue on the message recipients table where Recipient Type labels displayed words instead of the correct numbered format. Labels in the table, filters, and header now use consistent, properly numbered naming conventions for clarity and accuracy.
- Student Transfer View Blank Page Fix: Fixed an issue where adding a comment to a transfer with status State Approved for Sub Varsity caused the Student Transfer view page to render blank. Comments can now be added and saved without disrupting the transfer view.
Arbiter Websites
New Feature!
- Basecamp Domain Redirection and Branded Domain Association: Basecamp now supports managing domain redirection and branded domain associations in one centralized place. Teams can associate custom domains and control redirection behavior without manual backend setup. This improves onboarding speed, simplifies domain updates, and ensures consistent handling of branded domains across sites.
Improvements
- Updated Analytics Loading Message: The analytics loading error message has been updated to no longer references third party tools or directs users to external sites. The message now simply advises refreshing the page, which typically resolves the temporary loading issue.
- Roster Widget Sorting: You can now choose to default your roster sort to jersey number, name, or class.
Bug Fix
Images Not Displaying in Public View: We fixed an issue where images appeared correctly in the editor but did not display on the live public site. Images now render consistently between admin and public views. This removes the need for manual image reuploads and improves content reliability.

Scheduling
Smart Scheduler Update
- When you set up a smart schedule you can now choose to use the default site instead of a specific site for additional schedules.
Student Registration
IMPROVEMENTS
- Messages Page Enhancements
- Message View Table Redesign: The Message View page has been redesigned to provide a clearer, more informative view of message recipients. When viewing a sent message, admins now see an updated table layout with improved headers, recipient details, pagination, and delivery indicators—matching the latest design and making it easier to understand who received a message and how it was delivered.
- Message Recipients Table Search, Sort, and Filter: The message recipients table now supports interactive search, sorting, and filtering, making it easier for admins to find specific recipients and analyze message delivery. Users can search key fields, sort across columns, and filter by recipient type using the same familiar table controls as Reports, with selections persisting across pages for a smoother review experience.
- Per-Recipient Message View: Administrators can now view exactly what each individual recipient received for a sent message. From Reports, selecting a recipient opens a modal showing the message in the format delivered—Email, Text, or both—matching the original send. Clear status messaging is shown when delivery wasn’t possible (e.g., no email, no mobile number, or text opt-out), giving admins clear validation and confidence in message delivery.
- Required Fields for Template Creation – Template creation now requires both Template Name and Type to be completed before saving. Validation is enforced in the admin UI and API, with clear error messaging and visual indicators when fields are missing. This prevents incomplete templates and ensures consistency across new and cloned templates.
FIXES
- Firefox Report Column Overlap Fix: Fixed a Firefox-specific issue where report columns with long custom field names overlapped adjacent columns. Column headers now render correctly across browsers, improving report readability and usability for organization users.
- Student Transfers “Select All” Fix: Fixed an issue where the Select All checkbox in the Student Transfers section appeared unchecked after navigating away and back, even when all options were selected. The checkbox state now correctly reflects saved selections—automatically checking when all options are selected and unchecking when any option is removed.
- Message Page Title Cleanup: Fixed an issue where the Messages page title incorrectly included a section name when accessed from a report. The title now displays only the organization name, ensuring consistent and clear labeling across all sections.
Arbiter Websites
Improvements
- Custom Post Queries in Dynamic Pages
- What’s new: Editors can now use simple Query IDs in page builder widgets to automatically show content for the current team. Content is filtered by sport name and gender, with optional level and school year.
- Why this matters: This removes manual filtering on team pages. Once a widget is placed and a Query ID is added, posts, photo galleries, files, forms, and other supported content will display only what is relevant to that team.

- Soccer: Overtime & penalty kick selection (introduced in a previous release)

- Enhanced Scoring Options: Admins now have greater flexibility with scoring, including the ability to not count a game or result toward the overall record and manually select winners.
- Empty State Enhancements: All screens now include clear empty state messaging and defined behaviors when no data is available, making blank pages more informative and user-friendly.
- Improved App Launch Experience: The app’s startup process has been optimized for a smoother and more consistent experience. This update minimizes screen flashing and eliminates unnecessary reloads during launch and login.
